Chiropractor for Headaches & Migraines in Singapore

Chiropractor for Headaches & Migraines in Singapore

Many headaches don’t start in the head at all — they start in the neck and shoulders. Tension-type headaches and cervicogenic (neck-related) headaches are often driven by tight muscles, joint restriction and posture, which is exactly what chiropractic care is well suited to address. As a chiropractor for tension headaches, we assess your neck and posture, treat the source of the tension, and help reduce how often your headaches strike.

If you experience migraines, it’s important to be clear and honest: migraine is a neurological condition that’s managed medically, and chiropractic care isn’t a cure. What we can often help with is the neck component many migraine sufferers have — the neck tension and stiffness that can accompany or contribute to attacks. As a supportive chiropractor for migraines, we work alongside your doctor’s care, never as a replacement for it.

Why Choose Agape Chiropractic Clinic for Headache and Migraines?

  • We target the cause: We address the neck tension, posture and muscle strain behind many headaches, not just the symptom.
  • Drug-free & non-invasive: Care that can help you rely less on painkillers, with no medication or surgery.
  • Honest about scope: We’re clear about what chiropractic can help great for tension headaches, supportive for migraine and we coordinate with your doctor.
  • Care that refers on: If your headaches show warning signs or need medical review, we’ll tell you and refer promptly.

How we Treat Headaches and Migraines?

We combine gentle, targeted treatments to ease the neck-and-muscle tension behind many headaches:

1. Gentle cervical (neck) care: Careful adjustment and mobilisation of restricted upper-neck joints that contribute to headaches.

2. Trigger point therapy: Releasing the neck and shoulder muscle knots that refer pain into the head.

3. Soft-tissue therapy (ART): Easing tight, overworked muscles in the neck and shoulders.

4. Posture & rehab: Strengthening and posture work to reduce the neck strain that triggers headaches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a chiropractor help with tension headaches?

Often, yes. Tension-type and cervicogenic (neck-related) headaches are frequently driven by neck tension, joint restriction and posture — which chiropractic care is well suited to address, using gentle neck care and soft-tissue therapy to target the cause.

Can a chiropractor help with migraines?

It’s important to be honest here: migraine is a neurological condition managed by a doctor, and chiropractic care isn’t a cure. Where it can help is the neck component many migraine sufferers have — the neck tension that can accompany attacks. We provide this as supportive care, alongside your medical treatment.

Is chiropractic care for headaches drug-free?

Yes. Our approach is drug-free and non-invasive, and for many people it can help reduce how often they need to reach for painkillers.

When should a headache be seen by a doctor urgently?

Seek urgent medical care for a sudden, severe “thunderclap” headache, the worst headache of your life, a new headache after age 50, or a headache with fever, stiff neck, confusion, weakness, numbness, vision or speech changes, or after a head injury. We also screen for these.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your headache type and how long you’ve had it. We’ll assess your neck and headache pattern and give you a realistic plan.

Will my insurance cover treatment?

Many corporate and personal plans cover treatment at our clinic — check with your provider, and we’re happy to help where we can.
